Art Matters Productions is celebrating its two year anniversary with a special concert featuring recording artist Alpha The Musical. This powerhouse singer, songwriter, musician is one that captivates audiences all around the state of Colorado and beyond. Alpha The Musical is coming to us from Colorado Springs, CO where she is active not only in the music community but an activist in the fight for equality for all. This concert also features AMP Rising Stars Caitlyn Tibbles and Violet Michaelis. These rising artists are two of the best in the Arkansas Valley Area of Colorado and you will see why.

ABOUT AMP AND ITS FOUNDER
Art Matters Productions is the brain child of recording artist Dominque “DMINQ” Robbins. Started in 2017, Dominque had just gotten out of a deal with a management company and was back to where he started at square one. Over the course of one year he had to figure out the best way to release his music to multiple outlets without the aide of management, and so, Art Matters Movement was born. The first two releases of Art Matters Movement was Dominque’s debut album “The Disassembly Of Me” which was self produced and engineered, and Rocky Ford’s own DER’s debut EP “The Roots”.
Soon after both of those releases were out for the world to listen to, Dominque began working with other local artists. He opened up his home studio to friends and fellow artists just wanting to record and get their names out. Dominque later returned as an artist in 2020 after a one year hiatus with singles such as “Don’t Waste Your Time” “Teach Me How To Let Go” “U Luv Me 2” and the fan favorite, “What You Want” just to name a few. And in 2021 Dominque released his sophomore album “30” which has received lots of great reviews and critical acclaim from many of his peers,
podcasts, and magazines nationwide.
Dominque has been signed to two record labels during the course of his musical career, produced, engineered, played the drums, sung and even vocal arranged for several
records for artists local and national.
In 2020 Art Matters Movement was then changed to Art Matters Productions to be more flexible and to cater to Dominque’s long awaited dream to have a space where artists of all types can come to create, network, collaborate, and soon make a living doing what they love. This recording studio is just the beginning of a much bigger plan and vision, and it is our hope that we can be a great service to the arts and entertainment community in the Arkansas Valley area and soon the world!
Art Matters Productions is now a nationally recognized LGBTQIA+ and black owned business making it one of the first in the Rocky Ford Area!
Dominque was also honored as a Patron Of Influence for Pride Month 2023
by the Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado Springs.
